(I blame myself for getting the idea after watching all those 'behind the scenes' of animated movies)
Lately, I've been getting several artists to try and give me advice about my art. And many have the same answer.
My anatomy is below average and needs major improvement.
My colouring and shading has some odd parts
But somehow, I'm still able to animate to a decent level.
(Makes me wonder how on earth I past the Drawing classes at college)
I find it strange that so far not a single one has point out any good parts about my work?
There must be something good in my art, is there?
I don't know why I'm taking such criticisms the wrong way.
But then again, it's not just art.
I get depressed whenever anyone gives me a bad comment in anything.
I'm down to the point where I feel like I may have a fear of failer or messing things up, but I don't think anyone will believe me.
So really, if I somehow don't have the skills to be an animator or artist, then where should I go for work?
I have an imaginative mind for a start, but not sure what job would suit me.

The most merciful thing in the world I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its content.
H.P. Lovecraft.
I too struggle as an artist. I find it very hard to accept compliments and always seem to critique my work even those who find it good.
